The dual-motor Long Range became the Model 3 most people actually bought. Two motors, all-wheel drive, and the full 75 kWh pack made it the sensible choice for anyone who wanted range without compromise. It hit the sweet spot between the base car and the Performance trim.
With both motors working together, it handled well in all weather and still delivered strong acceleration. Tesla kept refining it with over-the-air updates, and the AWD Long Range consistently topped sales charts across North America and Europe. For many buyers, this was the configuration that made a gas car feel pointless.
