The Standard AWD adds a front motor to the base Juniper, giving buyers in cold climates or hilly terrain the traction they need without stepping up to the Premium tier. Like the Standard RWD, it doesn't get the signature LED lightbar across the front fascia.
This is the pragmatic choice. AWD grip, the full Juniper interior, and a price that sits comfortably between the base RWD and the Premium trims. For northern states, Canada, and Scandinavia, this is likely the volume trim. Two motors also mean slightly better acceleration, since the front and rear units can work together off the line.
