The 2026 Tesla Model Y Launch Series AWD (Juniper) was an SUV produced from 2025 to 2025. It features a dual motor (permanent magnet) AWD powertrain. EPA-rated range is 320 miles with 120 MPGe. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds. Top speed is 135 mph. Manufactured at Fremont, CA / Austin, TX / Shanghai / Berlin.
Tesla offered the Juniper Launch Series as a limited-edition Model Y to celebrate the refresh's debut. Based on the Long Range AWD, it added exclusive interior and exterior details that won't be available on standard production models. The Launch Series was available only during the initial ordering window, giving early adopters something collectors might care about later.
Limited-run Teslas are unusual. The company doesn't typically do special editions, which makes the Launch Series a departure. Whether it holds any premium in the used market depends on how many were actually built, a number Tesla hasn't disclosed. For now, it's a footnote with nice trim.
