The 2026 Tesla Model Y Premium AWD (Juniper) is an SUV in production since 2025. It features a dual motor (permanent magnet) AWD powertrain. EPA-rated range is 327 miles with 123 MPGe. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds. Top speed is 125 mph. Manufactured at Fremont, CA / Austin, TX / Shanghai / Berlin.
The Premium AWD is arguably the new default Model Y, the trim most buyers will end up configuring. It combines the LED lightbar exterior, the full Premium interior, dual motors, and the larger battery pack into what amounts to the complete package without the stiffened suspension and aggressive tuning of the Performance.
Like the original Long Range AWD before it, this is the Goldilocks Model Y. It does everything well: long range for road trips, AWD for all weather, the best interior trim for daily comfort. Tesla's betting that this configuration will again become the best-selling vehicle on the planet.
