The Juniper Performance carries on the tradition of making the Model Y unreasonably fast for a family crossover. It gets unique 21-inch wheels, larger brakes, lowered suspension, and Track Mode for spirited driving. The LED lightbar is present, and the exterior gets subtle Performance-specific details.
Adaptive dampers, first introduced on the Highland Model 3 Performance, make the transition to the Model Y here. That means the ride doesn't have to punish you on the daily commute just because you wanted the fastest trim. It's a genuine dual-purpose machine: track days Saturday, kid pickup Monday.
