The 2024 Tesla Model 3 Long Range AWD (Highland) is a sedan in production since 2024. It features a dual motor (permanent magnet) AWD powertrain. EPA-rated range is 341 miles with 127 MPGe. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds. Top speed is 125 mph. Manufactured at Shanghai / Fremont, CA.
The Highland Long Range kept the dual-motor AWD setup and paired it with a larger battery for Tesla's best Model 3 range figure to date. Like all Highland trims, it got the redesigned interior with its rear screen, ambient lighting strip, and new cloth door panel material that replaced the old plastic.
This was again the Goldilocks configuration. Enough range for long road trips without charging anxiety, AWD grip for all seasons, and a comfortable ride for daily commuting. Tesla also improved the suspension tuning for the Highland generation, making it noticeably more refined over rough pavement than its predecessor.
