Tesla's answer to Model X sticker shock. Launched in July 2016 at $74,000, the 60D used a software-limited 75 kWh pack to undercut the 75D by several thousand dollars, trading down to a 200-mile EPA rating.

It was gone by early 2017, but its 75 kWh hardware meant owners could buy back the locked range later. Falcon-wing doors, seven-seat option and Autopilot hardware all carried over unchanged.
