The 2026 Tesla Semi is the production-spec refresh of the Class 8 electric truck Tesla unveiled in 2017. Tesla revealed final specs on a March 23, 2026 Jay Leno's Garage segment, then began high-volume production at its dedicated Reno, Nevada plant on April 29, 2026. The Long Range trim carries an 822 kWh battery for 500 miles at full 82,000 lb gross combination weight; a 548 kWh Standard Range version covers 325 miles. The refresh swaps the previous 12-volt low-voltage system for a 48-volt architecture shared with Cybertruck, cutting roughly 1,000 lb of wiring and components. The tri-motor drivetrain produces up to 1,072 hp and supports 1.2 MW Megacharging. Tesla is ramping the Reno line toward 50,000 units annually.
