What this site is
TSLAblog.com is an independent Tesla news and data site run by Michael Joiner. It is not affiliated with Tesla, Inc. The site has four parts: a continuously updated newsfeed pulling from established Tesla and EV publications, a daily blog, a vehicle database covering every Tesla trim back to the 2008 Roadster, and a $TSLA stock page.
How the daily blog is written
Daily posts are drafted by an AI pipeline under the byline "Aimee Joiner." Each post is generated from same-day reporting gathered by a news search API, and every claim links to its source inline. The pipeline is configured to cite primary reporting rather than paraphrase without attribution, and posts that fail source checks don't publish. A human (Michael) maintains the pipeline, reviews output, and corrects or removes posts that get something wrong.
We label this clearly because you deserve to know how your news is made. If you spot an error, email michaeljoiner@gmail.com and it will be fixed or retracted.
The vehicle database
The Tesla vehicle database documents 55 individual trims with EPA range, performance figures, battery sizes, and production dates, sourced from EPA filings at fueleconomy.gov and archived Tesla spec sheets. You can also compare any two trims side by side.
Corrections policy
Factual errors are corrected in place. Posts based on reporting that is later retracted by the original source are updated or removed. The newsfeed links directly to original publishers; we don't rewrite their work.
