The 2026 Tesla Cybercab Robotaxi is a coupe in production since 2026. It features a single motor RWD powertrain. EPA-rated range is 200 miles. Manufactured at Austin, TX (Gigafactory Texas).
Unveiled at Tesla's "We, Robot" event in October 2024 at Warner Bros. Studios, the Cybercab is a purpose-built autonomous vehicle with no steering wheel, no pedals, and seating for two. It's designed exclusively for Tesla's planned robotaxi network.
The two-door coupe shape is compact and clean, with butterfly doors and a minimalist interior. Tesla targets a sub-$30,000 price point and plans to begin production in 2026. It runs on the company's Hardware 4 compute platform and relies entirely on camera-based vision for self-driving. Whether regulatory approval keeps pace with Tesla's timeline is the big question.
