The 2024 Tesla Cybertruck Foundation Series AWD was a truck produced from 2024 to 2025. It features a dual motor (permanent magnet) AWD powertrain. EPA-rated range is 318 miles with 65 MPGe. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds. Top speed is 112 mph. Manufactured at Austin, TX (Gigafactory Texas).
Tesla's Foundation Series trucks were the first Cybertrucks delivered, reserved for early reservation holders starting in late 2023. The AWD Foundation Series came with unique "Foundation Series" badging, laser-etched serial numbers, and powered tonneau covers that later became options.
These carried a premium over the standard AWD trim, essentially functioning as a launch edition. Whether that premium holds as a collector's item or fades as production ramps is an open question, but first-run vehicles from any automaker tend to find an audience among enthusiasts.
